ARE THE SAFETY COURSES OSHA COMPLIANT?

Yes, each training course follows the Federal standard for general industry, general awareness level training required for the classroom portion of the applicable regulation. However, this can go beyond OSHA and may require compliance with additional governing agencies such as the EPA, JCAHO, DOT, etc. Please keep in mind that several standards have specific practical or hands-on training requirements that would need to be supplemental to SCS. Training courses should be selected based on the hazards present in the workplace and as part of your overall Safety Program.

 

As a small company, do I need A SAFETY PROGRAM?

Yes, even if you only have 1 employee you must still comply within the appropriate

OSHA standards, some exemptions do apply. We can help!

 

Can my NEW HIRES start WORKING IMMEDIATELY?

OSHA requires all new hires to be fully trained to preform safely among all workplace

CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE TRAINING FOR MY COMPANY'S NEEDS?

Absolutely! We provide flexibility to change to your company specific documents, videos, & training based on your needs.

How do I verify a 10- or 30-hour card?

Most cards issued after March 2016 (plastic cards) will have a QR code on the backside that can be scanned to verify authenticity. Paper cards can be verified by contacting the outreach trainer who issued the card. Please note that outreach trainers are required to maintain records only for training that took place within the previous 5 years.
